I have been feeling very unmutual the last few days - trying to catch up and watch the new Prisoner - still on my DVR, I hope to post some screen caps and info very soon...be seeing you (cough cough)

New wallpapers

I am working on some new wallpapers from AMC's The Prisoner, will get some more pics with screen captures when the show airs of course....

The New 6

AMC has done some great work to their website and his really promoting the show a week in advance of it's premiere.  The titles of the episodes and dates are :

Sun., Nov. 15:
"Arrival" and "Harmony"
Mon., Nov. 16:
"Anvil" and "Darling"
Tue., Nov. 17:
"Schizoid" and "Checkmate"

...from reading the descriptions on my DVR's guide, Schizoid looks to be a retelling of the original Schizoid Man with a twist.

Can't wait.

AMC's The Prisoner

Today AMC aired their 15 minute preview for their mini-series of The Prisoner.  Nice to see it on TV, gave me a few chills - especially when they talked about the old man that the "New" 6 finds hiding in the hills (sort of similar to when No.6 finds Dutton in "Dance of the Dead") that the man could be the original No.6 - it would have be fantastic to have that part played by McGoohan of course.  Watch of the preivew airing many times on AMC before the Nov.15th premiere.

Well Come

Well come to the new Unofficial Patrick McGoohan Tribute Page.  I decided to re-launch the site that I took down a few years ago, and re-registered the domain on January 13th, 2009.  Coincidentally, later that day I found out that Patrick McGoohan had passed away.  This is a true story.  For a while I have thought about whether or not to continue making the site.  I know there are a lot of fans of McGoohan out there, and this page is for you, the many fans over the years who enjoyed his work in The Prisoner, Secret Agent, Braveheart, Columbo and other projects.

Many thanks also to my good friend "Prester John" who without his support (and the creation of most of the wallpapers, including the fantastic Mary Queen of Scots wallpapers and screen captures) this site would never have finally completed!

In the next few months I will be adding more unique screen captures and pictures and am always looking for new ideas about how to keep the site fresh.

I also hope to use this blog to comment when The Prisoner remake begins to air here in North America in a few weeks (anyone know when it will air elsewhere?). 

Please feel free to email me with any ideas, suggestions, contributions for the site, anything you have I will be more than happy to post somewhere for all to see and share.
